Originally from North Palm Beach Florida, Bobby Gallagher is second trumpet of the Miami City Ballet’s Opus One Orchestra. He is also a regular extra of the Palm Beach Symphony where he performs roles from section trumpet to guest principal trumpet. Additionally, he has performed with orchestras such as the New World Symphony, the Florida Orchestra, and the Vero Beach Opera/ Atlantic Classical Orchestra.

Recently, Bobby has attended the Colorado College Summer Music Festival, Festival Napa Valley, and the Center for Advanced Musical Studies at Chosen Vale. Bobby holds Bachelors and Masters of Music degrees from the University of Miami’s Frost School of Music, in Coral Gables, FL, and has recently completed an Artist Diploma where he has studied with Craig Morris.

In his free time, Bobby enjoys fishing, cooking, gardening, spending time with friends and family, and taking care of his saltwater aquarium!
