General Lesson Information

 

Open to students ages 4+ 

​

Location: At student's home, teacher's home, or online. We serve the areas of South Miami, Coral Gables, Coconut Grove and Pinecrest. 

​

Times: Mon-Fri 9:00 AM-9:00 PM. Saturdays 9:00 AM-4:00 PM

​

Private Lessons: One-on-one

​

Semi-Private Lessons: 2 students in a lesson. Ideally, the students will have found a partner by the time they register. Otherwise, individuals may have to wait depending on the school's demand. Students are placed together depending on age and experience/skill level. 

​

Lesson Length: Determined amongst the student, parents and teacher depending on the students' experiences and skill level. Lesson length varies between 30 mins, 45 mins, or 1 hour.

​

Lessons occur weekly. Students can request to take more than one lesson a week if the teacher has availability. Lesson time is determined amongst the parents, teacher, and students, depending on their individual schedules.

All members of our faculty are professional musicians with lots of experience in their field. We care deeply for each of our students and carefully select each member of our faculty.

Materials

​

The teacher will let you know what books you need to get as you progress in your musical studies. If you don't already have an instrument, our teachers are more than happy to help you find one that works well with your preferences and  budget. 

​

Additionally, you can visit our music shop for additional materials such as staff paper, practice sheets, etc.

 

*For percussion students: Our percussion teacher is ready and willing to bring equipment to lessons (if the students don't already have them), at an additional cost as per AFM 655 Cartage Rates
