At Miami House of Creative Arts, we believe the benefits of music are meant to be experienced at every age. Parent & Me Music supports early childhood development while giving parents and caregivers the opportunity to experience music’s benefits themselves, including stress relief, emotional expression, creativity, connection, and overall well-being. Most importantly, experiencing music together creates a special opportunity to bond, be present, and make meaningful memories as a family.

 

While many traditional Mommy & Me classes center around one child and one caregiver, we want more of your family to experience those moments together. That’s why every child’s registration includes up to two accompanying adults at no additional cost. This class isn’t just for your little one. It’s for you, too.

Age Groups, Schedule & Location

Children grow quickly during the early years, and what engages a baby can be very different from what excites a preschooler.

That's why Parent & Me Music is divided into three separate, age-based classes, with activities and musical experiences thoughtfully adapted to each developmental stage.

​

Infant (3-18 month) - Sundays at 1:00 PM (30-min) 

A gentle first introduction to sound, rhythm, movement, instruments, and musical connection for our littlest musicians and their grown-ups.

 

Toddler (18-month - 3-yr old) - Sundays at 2:00 PM (45-min)

An active, playful class that gives curious little ones opportunities to move, explore instruments, discover musical patterns, and interact with music.

Preschooler (3-5 yr old) - Sundays at 3:00 PM (45-min) 

A more interactive musical experience for growing children, encouraging creativity, coordination, musical awareness, independence, and expression while still sharing the experience with their grown-ups.

​We provide the class materials, you bring your little one(s). Getting out of the house with a little one already requires enough planning. Music class shouldn't add much more.
