Shantal is a Miami native and proud alumni of Coral Reef Highschool. She later went on to obtain her Bachelor's degree from Belmont University in Nashville, TN. Prior to attending Belmont University, she had the privilege of touring throughout the United States and Japan with the nonprofit organization The Young Americans, which is a California-based performance group that brings music workshops to schools all over the world. Shantal also volunteered at the Shanti Bhavan residential school of Bangalore, India, as a teaching artist specializing in Musical Theater. Ms. Francis is passionate about music education and the way music can transform a student's confidence and self-esteem. She truly enjoys watching her students flourish in their musical talents year after year! She is a classically trained singer and loves singing musical theater.
